He was born in Texas and raised between the Dominican Republic and Tennessee\, and his music embodies a life steeped in faith\, family and authenticity. \nAs part of NBC’s 2026 midseason premiere schedule “The Voice: Battle of Champions” will premiere Monday Feb. 23rd with the winner being announced on April 29th. They’ll be 3 coaches\, each working with 10 performers all former winners and finalists. Coaches will be Adam Levine\, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson who was Jake’s coach when he won season 17.
